Suppose you are Joe Biden.
Suppose you have been informed it’s time to wrap up your presidency regency before you bring down your entire party along with you.
Suppose the only reason you were elected installed in that position by your party is because, after decades of grift and graft, large and larger, you were highly susceptible to blackmail — and therefore fully controllable by those acting behind the curtain. A puppet, not a president.
Suppose your bedfellows are aware of the sorts of damaging evidence House Republicans now possess and will soon begin slooooooowly releasing.
Suppose your side needs you out of the way sooner than later, allowing sufficient time to conduct primaries to identify a candidate for the 2024 election.
Suppose they informed you the end of this year was the deadline for departing.
Suppose, on the other hand, you possess mucho compromising information on former Senate colleagues. Sufficient information to implode both hopelessly corrupt parties.
Suppose you had worked out a severance package. Such an agreement would undoubtedly include a pardon from your successor, along with essentially get-out-of-jail-free cards for your crackhead son the smartest man you know and the rest of your compromised criminal family.
Suppose you gave your word as a Biden that you would adhere to your part of the agreement, and leave quietly if your interlocutors adhered to their part of the deal.
Just supposing a few hypotheticals.
How might the public clue in to the legal and financial parameters, along with the timing, of such a hypothetical agreement?
What sorts of clues might we perceive?
Perhaps you might begin taking extended vacations, spending more time out of, than in, the office.
Perhaps you would decline to comment on reporters’ barked questions.
Perhaps you would sharply curtail your press availabilities.
Perhaps your crackhead son the smartest man you know would be mostly absolved of substantial criminal and civil liability.
But suppose that deal hit a snag because a judge was unwilling to commit reputational suicide by allowing its most egregious elements to stand. And then the final stipulations of Biden’s severance agreement perhaps did not transact. That is when the other party to the agreement might begin to make dumb moves, unforced errors.
If, as the previous link suggests, the imperative for Trump Indictment4 was to remove the focus from prosecutor David Weiss, the question then becomes: Why? What is the problem with Weiss? Why was it essential to install him as the Hunter Biden special counsel? So essential that his appointment was illegal.
Everyone knows the reason why Weiss is essential to this scheme. Because he is willing to do whatever it takes, whether unethical or illegal, to ensure the severance agreement is fulfilled. But, but they tell us — Trump appointed Weiss. It’s not that simple. Home state senators (in this case Delaware Democrats) essentially have veto power over any local federal prosecutor appointment. It was Senators Carper and Coons who brought Weiss forward.
Recall the sequence of events:
1) IRS whistleblowers reported Weiss had been prevented by AG Garland from bringing stronger charges against Hunter Biden.
2) Weiss and Garland denied he had been blocked.
3) Weiss was illegally appointed special counsel to provide him unlimited jurisdictional authority.
Obviously, if 1 was false there would have been no need for 3, no need to violate the special counsel statute.
§ 600.3 Qualifications of the Special Counsel.
(a) An individual named as Special Counsel shall be a lawyer with a reputation for integrity and impartial decision making, and with appropriate experience to ensure both that the investigation will be conducted ably, expeditiously and thoroughly, and that investigative and prosecutorial decisions will be supported by an informed understanding of the criminal law and Department of Justice policies. The Special Counsel shall be selected from outside the United States Government
This is why Special Counsel Kenneth Starr, during the Clinton impeachment inquiry, was plucked from the private sector. Regardless of how an illegally appointed special prosecutor came to be, the appointment is an insurance policy, ensuring his “investigation” does not conclude until after the 2024 election. It would not be the first Washington investigation convened to obscure the truth, nor the last.
BUT, such an insurance policy benefits Biden, not the party wise men (if there are any left) anxious to see him promptly gone. An inevitable split is emerging between two factions of the party. Between those who think he should go now and those who want him to stay.
Darling, you got to let me know
Should I stay or should I go?
If you say that you are mine
I'll be here 'till the end of time.
So you got to let me know
Should I stay or should I go?
Should I cool it or should I blow?
Should I stay or should I go now?
If I go, there will be trouble
And if I stay it will be double.
So come on and let me know.
What telltale clues (now or in the future) might support the existence of this Democratic internecine battle? Follow the media. Especially the NY Times, Washington Post, and CNN. They will be the venues for various leakers out to undermine Biden. If they begin revealing Biden dirt before Republicans, that will be a clue. How would we know if such leaks are not preemptive, from the White House attempting to get out ahead of dropping shoes to frame the narrative on the best possible terms? This appears unlikely, as the details are so ugly (and criminal) that normal procedures no longer apply.
Another area to seek clues is among House Democrats, many of whom are not the sharpest tools in the drawer. Pelosi (83), Hoyer (84), and Clybern (83) stepped down from leadership roles at the end of the last Congress. Each new generation of Democratic congressional leadership is dumber, more radical, and less competent than the one before. Goldman, Swalwell, Ocasio Cortez, Plaskett, Omar, etc. are examples. Such clowns will be unable to stand toe-to-toe with House investigators during the political hand-to-hand combat in the coming months as Biden’s high crimes are adjudicated. Goldman, infatuated with his brilliance, has already proven to be the gift which keeps on giving.
This will not be an uncontested divorce. Democratic family members have their own vested interests to protect. This process will be fascinating to watch unfold, as some stay on the sinking USS Biden, while others begin to run for cover. Democrats are famous for enforcing party discipline. But which party will be the question. The old guard party of Pelosi, Hoyer, and Clyburn, or the newer generation’s “Social Democrats” wing? This could be fun.
Mark Levin hosted Newt Gingrich on August 27, 2023. Gingrich outlined the true stakes and potential targets underlying the ongoing Biden affair. If (and that is a very big if) House investigators pursue the Biden corruption to its roots in the Obama and Clinton administrations, far more than Biden’s sorry ass is on the line. Many of Washington’s denizens (e.g., senators, bureaucrats, jurists) have shared in the massive proceeds flowing through the pipeline. Gingrich:
I personally think Obama runs the administration. I don't think Biden does, and I think everything they do that's smart comes from Obama's acolytes and Biden just sort of floats along. In a way, he never left the basement. But I also think it's important to understand — Biden is the tip of the iceberg. The real corruption is Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama. And Biden is the smallest of the three players. And I hope that the House Republicans are going to recognize that they have a much broader and much deeper investigation, starting with subpoenaing all of the financial records of the Clinton Foundation, which is going to produce evidence of a level of wrongdoing in terms of millions and millions of dollars, far beyond anything we've seen with Joe Biden.
. . . The breadth of corruption is breathtaking. And frankly, the more I’ve dug into it, the more I’ve studied it, the more stunned I am at how people like you and me have been sort of sleepwalking, not realizing the scale of the corruption taking over the system. And now it's all coming out in the open because they're so terrified of Donald Trump,
Be alert to the increasing pace of bombshell revelations of late. Democrats and their intelligence community and media allies need Biden gone. All good things must come to an end. Billions of dollars of graft has occurred in recent decades at the highest levels of American government. Biden merely represents the latest iteration of that effort. Beginning with Clinton, Inc., America was for sale to the highest global bidders, especially the Chinese. The Chinese acquired American missile technology, the Russians were granted uranium mining rights, and lesser criminal governments and individuals were accommodated in ways small and large. The Clinton Foundation was used as a washing machine to launder funds. Soon after Trump was elected, it was shut down because the spigot was shut off. Under Biden, its doors have been reopened for business.
The overarching objective of the culprits is now to insulate the rest of this enterprise from fallout stemming from Biden and the process of his ouster. Which brings us to the subject of Greg Kelly’s August 29 revelation. This generates several questions, which we can tentatively attempt to answer.
Several possibilities for the origin of the tape(s) must be considered.
1) They could have originated within the intelligence community in the course of monitoring foreign conversations with Americans. Another possibility is the reported recordings made by Burisma Holdings owner Mykola Zlochevsky, as insurance when dealing with the Biden family. A third possibility is an origin from one of the Biden family’s business associates. While we do not yet know the custody of the Zlochevsky tapes, or their contents, that appears to soon be revealed.
2) Who leaked the existence of the tape(s)? The fact that their imminent release was first leaked to Newmax suggests it came from the Democrats’ camp. Rather than use one of their traditional media allies, by using Newmax it would assist in keeping their hands clean. The developing right within the Democratic party means there are many who want Biden to remain.
3) Why announce a leak now and hold off on releasing the evidence until a later date? The most likely explanation is that this comes from within the Democratic camp and is designed to pressure Biden into leaving sooner than later, avoiding a messy departure and halting House investigators’ pursuit of ever more evidence.
The role of the intelligence community, in the ongoing events we only now are beginning to catch public glimpses of, can not be dismissed. If the CIA wants a national leader gone, at home or abroad, consider it done. They have had lots of practice. The list of 51 intelligence professionals brought in to suppress the Hunter Biden laptop in 2020 surely contains names of participants in current events, including the effort to exit Biden.
It seems Democrats have now given Biden a deadline: Halloween. The rumored career-ending audio tape(s), of one or more Biden phone conversations, would certainly not have originated from Republicans. Republicans have never had such a gift as Biden, and are in no hurry to want him gone so far before an election. The intent behind releasing such recordings would be twofold:
a) eliminate the possibility of Biden running for a second term and allow the primary process to unfold; and
b) possibly force Biden to resign sooner than later to prevent fallout impacting others as a result of House investigations coming uncomfortably close to uncovering incriminating information extraneous to Biden corruption. Biden’s crimes do not only incriminate his family members. An operation grossing tens of millions would likely have required sharing some of that loot with others. As Gingrich points out, Biden, Inc. is only a sideshow. The alternative to a coerced Biden resignation is that he remains in office through the remainder of his term. Which would permanently dispatch his party to the political wilderness. We can rule that out.
The identity of the counterparty to any hypothetical severance agreement would certainly be someone (or some group) responsible for pulling the strings throughout this regency. We know who the counterparty would not be — the head of the DNC. Probably not one in 10,000 could name the individual. The functionaries of two parties now serve as figureheads, apparatchiks serving as fronts for hidden masters. They serve to conceal those actually in control. A half-century ago, when Nixon resigned, we knew the identities of the congressional delegation sent to inform Nixon it was over. But we still had a functional democracy back then. With matters having devolved so far today, as we endure the tyrannies associated with a late-stage, imploding democracy, it is unlikely we serfs will ever know who acted as this counterparty.
It is noteworthy that we only hear establishment media talk about charging Hunter and Joe Biden with criminal acts, but radio silence has been imposed on the other complicit family members and numerous shell companies (over 20) and offshore accounts. At some point this will change as House investigators proceed down the evidentiary trail. And/or when Democratic operatives begin to turn the screws on Biden. Anyone denying the obvious is dismissed as a conspiracy theorist.
House investigators continue methodically and deliberately working their way up the Biden family food chain at the same time Democrats operate on a parallel, but faster, track as they scramble to be rid of their albatross.
Meanwhile, Biden’s understudy is warming up in the bullpen.
The recent arrest of Senate Foreign Relations Committee chairman Robert Menendez on influence peddling charges serves as a reminder of the ubiquitous graft permeating Congress, especially the Senate, and especially foreign relations. In his most recent arrest, the feds documented only hundreds of thousands of dollars at issue. While this may be only the tip of the iceberg of what Melendez actually netted, it pales compared to the billions harvested by Clinton, Inc. —under proprietorship of a President and Secretary of State, or by Biden, Inc., the investment vehicle of another former Senate Foreign Relations Committee chair, Vice President, and President.
That sort of plum committee chairmanship is not bestowed gratuitously. It is awarded to team players, likely with the obligation to share the loot with others. Senate Majority Leader Schumer was quick to come to his colleague’s defense:
Bob Menendez has been a dedicated public servant and is always fighting hard for the people of New Jersey. He has a right to due process and a fair trial. Senator Menendez has rightly decided to step down temporarily from his position as Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee until the matter has been resolved.
Many, including Democrats, criticized Schumer for not calling on Menendez to resign. What they don’t understand is that, like Biden, Menendez knows where too many political bodies are buried. An indictment of one senator poses a threat to the great majority, who share in the loot. Those accommodating the oligarchs are well compensated. How is it that after his previous indictment, Schumer (et al.) had no compunction against awarding Menendez the chairmanship? That position comes with access to highly classified intelligence, creating the potential for not only graft, but a national security concern.
The truth is the Senate is one big national security threat. Menendez is a piker, taking alleged bribes — totalling mere hundreds of thousands of dollars — in cash and gold bars, rather than establishing a maze of shell companies receiving huge wire transfers, as the Big Guy so profitably did for so long. Or establishing a foundation raking in billions. The other senators must have been shocked, shocked at the allegations against Menendez. Who knew a senior New Jersey politician could stoop to such alleged levels?
