During the September 6 Tucker Carlson interview with Larry Sinclair, the discussion drifted into an area which potentially relates to Obama’s selection of Biden as his 2008 running mate. There are two credible explanations for why Biden made the cut, in spite of his obvious flaws. Neither explanation is mutually exclusive. There is also the official Wikipedia version of the selection process, which does not begin to tell the whole story. We’ll begin with the simplest explanation, put forth by Attorney Robert Barnes, and conclude with the Beau Biden version.
Before going to Barnes, it should be pointed out that Carlson mentioned at the close of his interview: “In 2008, I don’t think anyone would have run the interview,” the understatement of this century. X (Twitter) proprietor Elon Musk was quick with damage control, minutes after the segment aired, in a belated effort to staunch the advertising bleeding:
Of course, the probability that his claims are true would have to rest on objective evidence, rather than claims made by someone with a dubious history.
What follows is some of that objective evidence. After the interview aired, Sinclair promptly announced that the interview marked a turning point for him, and after 15 years it was time “to put it all out on the table.” And mentioned he would begin by participating in a live interview later that evening.
The interview began on YouTube and concluded on Rumble, where the social media scolds can’t disappear it.
The consequential part of Sinclair’s story does not relate to sex or drugs, but to the murder of Donald Young, choir director at Jeremiah Wright’s 8,500-member Trinity United Baptist Church in Chicago. The church had an AIDS ministry, welcomed gays and lesbians, ordained gay clergy, and organized a singles/matchmaking group for its gay parishoners — the Down Low Club. Young, Obama’s long-term fling, was murdered in his apartment via multiple gunshots. As is the case with the Biden VP narrative, the timing of the Young death is the relevant part of the story. Both incidents served to cloak Obama’s gay backstory in the period prior to his securing the nomination at the 2008 DNC convention.
Young’s murder occurred on Sunday, December 23, 2007, when Obama’s campaign had caught fire and he began moving up the polls. What is the start of the slowest news cycle of the year? If you want an incident to vanish down the memory hole, and be buried under year-end news, that is the day. It would be 10 days later before most of the country returned to work on Wednesday, January 2.
There are more suspicious specifics to the Young story that add detail, including his family’s inability to get Chicago police to investigate, and Sinclair’s communications with Young prior to his death. Sinclair mentioned a little of this in his September 6 interviews, and went into specifics in his book. The story has been out there for 15 years, but has never been brought to the front burner. Carlson turned up the heat.
It must be recalled that the Young murder played out in the context of Hillary Clinton’s hand-to-hand-combat battle with Obama for the Democratic nomination. Not known to treat opponents lightly (e.g., the Trump Russia collusion hoax), her operatives were beginning to zero in on the gay aspect of Obama’s backstory.
The Young murder was the first suspicious incident during Obama’s path to the nomination. The second was Sinclair’s arrest, which we will get to after hearing Attorney Barnes’ outline of Biden’s corruption. The two incidents — which served to bury Obama's gay history — should be considered together.
“It's the real reason why Obama picked him.”
BARNES: In a discussion with Donald Trump Jr. earlier this month, attorney Robert Barnes outlined the dimensions of American political corruption:
Basically, Joe Biden is like what LBJ [was] like, just imagine a lot dumber. . . . His criminality is as broad as his intelligence is weaker. But basically, he's been the Biden crime family since the early 1970s. He weaponized his office, and access to his office, and access to his office, and used his family members — his brother, his sister, and then his son, when his son was old enough to make it profitable for him — to basically line their pockets, collectively. Some of that was lining the pockets of the Democratic political machine in Delaware, the Democratic political machine nationally. It's the real reason why Obama picked him. He didn't pick him because he had some magic appeal to blue collar voters, because the guy has got crushed every time he's run: in Iowa, New Hampshire, in the Democratic primaries, including in 2020.
. . .Hillary Clinton represented the new wave of Democratic corruption with the Clinton foundation. Joe Biden represented the old school Democratic political machine corruption, weaponizing your position in Congress, or the Senate, in order to line your pockets and those of your family, your friends, and your political allies. And he was a master of it.
When he was Vice President, and I was doing criminal defense work, people connected to Biden would come and recruit clients of mine to say if they made a certain contribution or donation, old Uncle Joe would make it all go away. And I would tell my clients: stay away from that. . . . Those were high-profile political cases that could go sideways real fast — bad idea to get connected. But it was so open, so brazen. But that's how Biden was, and everybody knew it in Washington. I remember being shocked at the first time it happened.
And I do a little inquiry, it's open knowledge: that's how Joe operated. He uses the family to shake down people out of money, all the time, on a regular basis, by weaponizing his office. So you go through that, you have crimes in pretty much every county or state in the country. I mean anytime Hunter went through a place he committed a crime.
